"Expanding Universe," showing the Black Box 2-1/2 years later.
"Look at the movement!" exclaimed the charming Charm Su, examining a tiny swatch of an archived prototype. "Each piece!! Look at the raggedy ones! It should be a whole wall- a private showing-clear boxes with deep mattes, where they float!" said Sang.
I am thinking about Ways of Seeing. It's funny- I showed the Black Box to a friend last weekend and it fell deader than a doornail. On a dining table, old oak. It was warm, lots of flora around. Lots of color. I had brought it home so I could take it first thing Tuesday to Charm, who remembered something in it from way back then that she needed for her Hamptons client.
Charm's office, AKA Mark Gould Architect, was clean, minimal, and cool--except for Charm's hot pink shortshorts and the blazing smiles of Charm and Sang, full of passion for their art. After signing in blood for prototype #15 (plain-as-stone linen laminate frozen in mid-movement), she roared off on her Vespa with the Black Box.
